Chinese-Speaking Translator / Interpreter (Part-time)

What you will handle

• ✓Interpret between Mandarin and English during in-person meetings, telephone calls, and routine workplace conversations.
• ✓Translate messages, emails, instructions, and short documents accurately and clearly.
• ✓Preserve the meaning, tone, and context of each conversation or document and clarify ambiguous information when necessary.
• ✓Handle business and personal information professionally and confidentially.
• ✓Coordinate with the team on availability, priorities, and translation turnaround times.

What the team needs right now

• ✓Fluent spoken and written Mandarin and English.
• ✓Strong listening, comprehension, and interpersonal communication skills.
• ✓Careful attention to accuracy, cultural context, and confidentiality.
• ✓Availability for part-time, on-site work in Colombo 03.
• ✓Translation or interpreting experience is an advantage but is not essential.
